It was truly a great blessing of being able to come to the Adventist Medical Mission Conference in Penang, Malaysia 2017.
Being able to make it to the conference itself was a miracle. Got a WhatsApp message from my friend in March. At that time, I was travelling in Romania with the mission of visiting different lifestyle centres and mission schools in Europe after the Total Member Involvement (TMI) in Romania 2017. I did not have any money nor knowing where will I be during the conference time.
Next day, I sent a message to a friend in Hong Kong which I met last year and he said I should go and I got sponsored. God truly has a thousand ways to provide which we know none and His way is heaven above the earth. From this friend, 4 more people from Hong Kong came to the conference. Here I came, at AMM conference. The three speakers, who came from different walks of life, unique in their ways, yet their messages were consistently collaborating with one another. You cannot explain the possibility of such perfect correlation except by divine intervention.
I enjoyed the morning devotion with Dr Fam Siow Leong who dedicates his life for the medical missionary work in Africa, an awfully tough mission field to establish lifestyle centres and medical missionary training centres attached with local hospitals throughout the continent. Dr Tim Riesenberger, a young and vibrant speaker who intertwined traditional medicine with God’s natural healers in a powerful way, yet balanced and scientific. Dr Peter Landless, the director of the General Conference Health Ministries delivered messages so solid and deeply rooted with the Bible and the Spirit of Prophecy. Though they are so different, one thing is in common, which is they do not only talk the talk, but walk the walk.
On top of the spirit filled messages, had a fantastic time catching up with old friends and making new friends. Sharing our experience in the work that we are doing, networking and knowing more resources in order to apply in our ministries.
The conference finished off with a great outreach program in the community. A very comprehensive health expo which was organized with FOLLOW UP programs. A clinic measuring BMI, blood glucose, cholesterol and reviewed with consultations. On top of that, got a team of other health professionals who did eyes sight test, glaucoma screening and dental check-ups. The local church members got involved in order to make such an event fruitful and we could apply what we learnt in the conference straight away with the outreach.
This conference truly inspired me to do a lot more for God, with the testimonies of others, it broadened my horizon, the things I am doing is indeed very little.

It is time for the Right Arm to March On with the proclamation of the 3rd angel message.
