This was my first experience joining AMM Conference. In this conference, by Holy Spirit’s guidance, as well as the sharing from three main speakers, I was able to understand better of what medical missionary really means.

I have been with Aenon Health Care for ten years and counting, a period that is long enough for me to start forgetting why I first took up the challenge to serve in the medical missionary field. This conference gave me a timely reminder that medical missionary is not just a job or career, but a calling, a mission.

After an extended period of “working,” we are inclined to overlook that the right arm of the Gospel is not merely about healing the sick; rather, it should also heal one’s soul, the holistic health that only God can grant us. Through this conference, God also inspired me that health reform is to fit / equip everyone for service to others. We are saved to serve.

Pui Mun and her team went for a mission trip in Uganda, Africa.

The open discussion enabled healthcare professionals, pastoral workers, as well as medical missionaries to deliberate on how best to work with one another, to push forward the work of medical missionary in Malaysia, fulfilling its role in hastening the return of Christ Jesus.

There is not much time left for us to serve! May we remember how we were first called by God. The right arm of the Gospel has to march on with every part of the body!

1 Corinthians 7:20 Let every man abide in the same calling wherein he was called. Amen.
